Cassie Donegan has been a part of the Centerstage family in multiple capacities since 2001. She began her career in professional theatre at the age of 9 years old working alongside of some of Broadway’s most talented alumni. She later attended Belmont University where she studied Musical Theatre in their award-winning Bachelor of Fine Arts program.

Since college, she has had the privilege of traveling the country performing professionally. She has portrayed roles such as Doralee Rhodes in 9 to 5, Carrie White in Carrie, Elle Woods in Legally Blonde, Sophie in Mamma Mia!, Narrator in Joseph...Dreamcoat, Jane in Tarzan, and more! She most recently was seen starring alongside the Emmy, Grammy, and 7 time Tony Award winner Audra McDonald in the world premiere of the new musical Sticks and Stones.

Cassie’s career also branches into acting in front of a camera. She has been seen on networks such as TBN, CBS, Discovery I.D., and in multiple local and national commercials. She has been very blessed to win many awards for her performances from regional to international recognition.

When not performing, Cassie works behind the table when it comes to theatre! She has choreographed, assistant directed, assistant music directed, and directed numerous shows both educationally and professionally. She specializes in virtual voice lessons, acting, and audition/performance prep for students of all ages! Her students have won numerous awards and can be seen on stages and screens across the country!

Cassie is thrilled to be a part of Centerstage's theatre and voice program, and for the opportunity to be able to pour into the lives of our next generation of performers! Her extensive experience and networking connections with top industry professionals makes her uniquely qualified to help students achieve their own career goals, but she is equally inspiring to young artists just beginning their journey!
