Conner Grieff, a Hampton roads native, holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Christopher Newport University (2016), and has been singing professionally around the Hampton roads areas for a number of years. He began singing with the Virginia Symphony Orchestra Chorus in 2016, and has also sung in the chorus for Virginia Opera in their productions of Samson et Dalila (2016) and Pirates of Penzance (2022). Most recently, he sang the role of Marchese D'Obigny in Virginia Opera's production of La Traviata (2023).
His previous roles include Bob from The Old Maid and the Thief, Frank from The Impressario, Littore from L'incoronazione di Poppea, and Lord Evelyn Oakleigh from Anything Goes.
For those of you who saw our spring 2023 Mary Poppins production, you may recognize Conner as Mr. George Banks. He performed in the alumni cast alongside his beautiful and talented wife, April Grosskopf, in the title role.
