Originally from Pennsylvania, Katherine Draney holds a BMus in Music Education from Houghton University and a MMus in Flute Performance from James Madison University.  She has taught music in both public and private schools and has taught both flute and piano privately over the years.  

 

Katherine currently works with Flute Frenzy as an instructor for the youth flute choir; she has played with Flute Frenzy, the Flute Choir of Southern Maryland, and Flutes on the Brink and has performed in flute masterclasses with Peter Lloyd and Bradley Garner.  She is a member of the National Flute Association.  

 

Katherine is so excited to have found Centerstage and is looking forward to sharing the joy of music with her students!
