Molly Kirsch has been involved in music since she was 6 years old. Her first musical at Centerstage was Seussical JR in 2012, and she knew that this was the place for her. As she grew older, she started playing the piano and eventually the French horn at Grafton Middle and High School. One of her favorite shows during this point in her musical development was Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella in which she played the title role of Cinderella (Centerstage, Spring 2019).
In high school, Molly became very passionate about theatre, band, and choir, so she stepped into leadership roles such as Drum Major for 2 years in the marching band. She also participated in the musicals at Grafton, playing Sophie in their production of Mamma Mia! (GHS, Spring 2023). During her senior year, she was Stage Manager for Centerstage's productions of Annie JR and Mary Poppins.
Molly is currently in her second year at Virginia Tech studying music education, with hopes of becoming a choir teacher in the future. She is so excited to be back at Centerstage this summer to be Stage Manager for Newsies and SHREK the Musical, as well as an Assistant Director for Magic Tree House: Pirates Past Noon KIDS!
