A Special Celebration!
We're celebrating our 30th anniversary with a special production of Shrek the Musical! We have made so many memories since Centerstage opened it's doors in 1995, we thought this show would be appropriate ... especially as it features a crazy band of family and frriends who learn that everyone has a story to tell!
Fun for the whole family, this will be a knock-out production! Besides the leads, there are a ton of featured and ensemble roles for all ages! ALL ROLES ARE OPEN TO EVERYONE - new students to alumni, young and "old." Casting will be based on video auditions. We have no idea how it will shake out, but we invite everyone to audition!

A Professional Production
For students who are passionate about performing ... or students who are just beginning to discover the world of theatre ... this experice will combine choreography, voice, and acting instruction with a professional-level production. "Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek...." And thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short-tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you've got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there's one on hand... and his name is Shrek.

Everyone's favorite ogre is back in the hilarious stage spectacle based on the Oscar-winning, smash hit film. Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, Shrek the Musical is a Tony Award-winning fairy tale adventure that brings all the beloved characters you know from the film to life on stage. Shrek proves there's more to the story than meets the ears ... and beauty is truly in the eye of the ogre.
